Taking on a child for adoption is a huge undertaking that not everyone is prepared for. As for people continuing to have sex, there needs to be more safe sex education and more acceptance and accessibility of planned parenthood measures such as birth control and abortion. If you want to make a difference, perhaps you could consider becoming involved in a planned parenthood education plan--this would help people better prevent unwanted births and lessen the amount of children in need of adoption.
