Is it normal that i fear the elderly?

Alright, so every since I was really little I can always remember being afriad of the elderly especially crippled and sad looking individuals. Just the sight of them makes me freak out. I can't really help it at all. Haha and there's no way you can get me into a hospital or nursing home. I guess the fact that I'm a germaphobe doesn't help at all. Is that normal?

    Well ALOT of elderly people are afraid of us - so i'd say it's normal lol. I personally have a fear of being old because there's alot of pain and other disappointments that come with it.

    It's ok maybe seeing them like that is actually saddening to you to see them suffer

    This isn't normal as such, but I understand where you come from. Maybe there was a death in your family when you were young and that made you over compensate with trying to escape from your own mortality in later life (maybe even subconsciously?)
