Is it normal that i fear showing my knees in public

I don't like showing my knees in public and I will constantly check to make sure that my knees aren't showing when I wear shorts.

Is It Normal?

    I have a similar issue. I never liked wearing women's shorts because the cut is often very revealing, tight, and above my knees. The remedy I can see for this is to either wear foreign clothing that falls into "Folk Costume" or to wear men's shorts.
