That's kinda weird- I describe my mate with wolf metaphors! He's mah wee wolf :P
Really, when we have long conversations and I have to go, he normally finishes by asking me for some. Mine aren't as poetic as yours; they are really deep and psychological, describing him in a long and complex metaphor. It's in my own style: extremely metaphorical, with an archaic feel.
I don't have feelings for him, but I have revealed secrets I've never told to anyone before (like I'm bi, or some of my fears of psychological problems in my head). I don't know how that relates to your post, but I though that was neat that we both use wolf metaphors ;)
Is it normal that I express my love through wolf metaphors?
