Is it normal that i enjoy doing my makeup?

So me and my girlfriend were sorting out her wardrobe a while back and as a typical girl she found some makeup palletes that she hadn't used for a while so decided to try a full face (usually goes for more of a natural look day to day). When she finished I told her how beautiful she looked and then as she was about to pack away she asked me if she could do mine so I thought ah go on then it can't be that bad. As expected it looked terrible even though I'm still young and have a 'decent' face so I decided to give it a go myself, it came out pretty well considering and with a push from my girlfriend I decided to keep on trying and I dont think I'm that bad and actually quite enjoy it. What are you peoples thoughts on this?

    Makeup can definitely be fun. It gets really old though as a woman whose “expected” to wear it. If you don’t, you get “damn, you look tired” or “feeling alright?”. And I’m like yeah, this is just my face. 🤷🏾‍♀️

    Totally normal for a person to enjoy making themselves look good. That's the sign of a person with a positive outlook in life...

    Normal. It’s just makeup plus it’s really fun to see what different looks you can create. If you like it, just wear it.

    no cause people like me are obsessed with putting on lipgloss and doing their hair a different style every 5 mins

    Go for it, I personally think makeup is overrated. I'm mostly confident in my appearance and do t wang to tarnish that. I saw an article the other day that made alot of sense. Everytime you put on makeup you are subconsciously telling yourself what needs to be improved. Till you feel reliant on wearing makeup.

    But op it's ok for guys to wear makeup. Just look at South Korea, men and women alike wear makeup on a daily basis.

    Point being if you want to wear makeup go ahead wear it, if you dont want to then dont. Only one who's forcing you to do it is yourself.
