me and my mum had just basically fled my dad, my mum managed to get this new house with the sale of her recently deceased mother's house, we'd been planning the move for a while but left with just a note as he would 100% get violent if we told him we were leaving
but it left me with this strange paranoia he was somehow going to find us, knock down the door and kick the shit out of us
My mum was physically and emotionally exhausted and went off to bed and i was left in an alien silent room lit by candlelight, sure that every person going past the window was my dad coming for us, having fled from the only home i'd ever known , even though it was one filled with alcaholism and abuse it was also filled with amazing memories and i was wondering if we'd made a mistake
then i heard my mum snore off in the distance and all that instantly fell away, i was instantly comforted and relaxed, i knew that were going to live a much better life and that she was so much happier and independant away from him and was sure it was the best thing that's ever happened to me and i fell alseep to the calming sound of her snoring
it totally fucking was, getting away from that boozed and fucked up cunt was the best thing that ever happened to me and 100% her and to this day her snoring was the most comforting thing i've ever heard
Is it normal that I enjoy and find the snores of my partner soothing?
