Is it normal that i eat pasta every day?

I eat pasta every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I sometimes put veggies and healthy things in it, but I eat it all the time, sometimes I'll eat something different one day out of the month. I think I may have hypoglycemia, and I like that pasta gives me more energy. Even though I eat about every 2 hours, I'm still very skinny. So is it normal? does anybody else eat pasta everyday?

I eat pasta quite often, like several times a week. But definitely not more than once a day! Pasta for breakfast? Don't you get tired of it?

It's normal as long as you aren't becoming constipated and are getting other nutrients. Do you eat fish? Where are you getting your protein source and essential oils? What type of flour is being used for the pasta?

    • I use Olive oil on pasta and I eat salmon occasionally. I don't eat much protein other than that.

Why is it that just about every comment on here has been thumbs down?

That's good but in a way, not so good. Do you have doctors? Do they know about your diet? If "yes", what have they said about it?

        • No, but I have been thinking about seeing a nutritionist or something like that. It's hard to get protein in my diet because there aren't many that I will eat. Fish gets expensive.

I definitely think that you should.

            Good luck.

lol I like pasta but damn... that's really too much.. Don't your pores get like oily? Well, anyways, if you're doctor says your in good health then just keep going on with your pasta life but don't you ever get cravings for other food?

    • Sometimes I'll crave salmon or rice. I have a lot of taste buds and most foods taste bitter. I don't like things that are too sweet either.

Wow, that's so odd... How long have you been eating pasta like this?

        • I've always been a picky eater. I started making my own meals when I was like 10, I'm 18 now.

I guess just drink a lot of water then. But it isn't normal I guess, at least because I've never heard of someone only eating pasta. lol

It may make you gain weight, if you eat too much, but otherwise pasta is great on a budget and can be quite healthy.

And actually, it's the sauces that can make it healthy v. unhealthy. Red marinara type sauces are best. If you can afford it, toss in some veggies for nutrients and vitamins. One of the pitfalls of eating the same food on a regular basis, is that you miss out on important vitamins, protein, etc. If you mix it up with some fresh tomatoes, zuchinni, onion, and other veggies it will help you get some of those.

You can also stir fry some veggies and soy sauce and toss it with that, for some variety and a way to eat veggies. Maybe throw in some peanuts or cashews for protein.

    Everything is healthy in moderation.

No pasta here since the war. I miss it. Also, my wife was killed last night. So even when the war is over there's nobody to make me pasta.

Is this some sort of cowardly suicide plan?
You must realize that you are doing more damage to your body than smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, right? The food triangle thing wasn't invented to make you feel guilty; there are important things that it shows you.
If I were you I wouldn't have children because you won't live long enough to see them grow up, and they'll have to grow up minus one pretty stupid parent. On second thought, continue on; the world will be a better place without you.
