Is it normal that i drink rum more than anything?

I've been an alcoholic since I was twelve. I used to drink nothing but beer, but now I drink mostly rum. There are less beer bottles strewn around my house now.

Is It Normal?

    I think only a fool would drink beer, if their aim is to get drunk A LOT. Beer is way too much volume, calories, and far more expensive, than hard liquor for the folks whose aim is to just get wasted. Smart move there.

    As a Trinidadian once told me, rum warms the tributaries of the heart. He was such a nice man, it was difficult to disagree.

    You might want to try water once in a while, though. That warms the tributaries of your kidneys.
