I always got jokingly yelled at by my BF for calling it “grape drank/purple soda” and godforbid “Kool-aid”. He always made the point that any drink with a real fruit or soda in the name was a privilege drink.

80% of my coworkers are black in a facility that has slightly over 1000 staff members. Trust me I know plenty of black people.
Give me a purp drink recipe that is better than ours. Hopefully one that doesn't call 800 people blue gums.
