People are quick to jump on the "you're an alcoholic" wagon. How long have you been letting alcohol put you to sleep? I did it for several months in college, mostly because I was bored and slightly depressed. It just became a habit. An expensive one. If you can't sleep, it's WAY healthier to visit a doctor and let them treat your insomnia. When I got sleeping medication, it tackled the underlying problem and I stopped drinking.
MAJOR caution here: Taking sleep medication AND drinking is a really good way to die - or spend the rest of your days brain-dead in a nursing home.
Is it normal that I drink every night?
