I notice that religious people often get very upset when others don't agree with them. This makes no sense to me. There is no OBVIOUS answer to these questions. Let's assume for a moment there is a God who created us. Why the mystery? Why the test of faith? Why all the drama? What purpose does all this serve? I know the proper answer is "To glorify God." But leaving everybody confused and fighting doesn't seem like it would lead to glory at all to me. The whole story seems so much like a story. If God did talk to Moses, it still made no sense. Having Moses go up and down the mountain. Why not take him up and down the mountain? Why leave the people down at the bottom, doubting and grousing? Why let Adam and Eve be confused by Satan? They really didn't have enough information and wisdom to deal with the situation. Why give the 10 commandments and then let the Jews keep adding rules the people couldn't cope with? If Jesus described what the Jews were doing wrong, why did the Catholics do all the same things wrong? Why are there so many different Christian religions, and they all think the other ones are destined for Hell and only their group gets in. I don't get it!
Is it normal that I doubt my Christian Faith?
