Forget what the world thinks and pay attention to your own experience. By that I mean, you know that God is real because of what has changed in you. You know you weren't the one doing the heavy lifting, it was him. So no one can convince you you went manic for a time and believe it was God, because I know for me I'm not a good person and it was only through God that I became truly better, not just for what people saw but for what I saw in myself.
We all doubt but don't stop believing (cliche much?).
