Is it normal that i dont trust fat, ugly or shy people?

People usually say that one should always judge people by their personality. However... many people are the way they are because of certain external factors.

Ugly, fat and shy people are usually nice, mostly because they know that that's the only way people will like them. But... are they truly like that deep inside?

For example, if a pretty girl is nice, I can be 99% sure that she is sincere, since she could be a bitch and no one would care. On the other hand, if an ugly person is nice... I can never be sure... what if they get beautiful some day?

In fact, I have met many slutty girls that were fat when they were younger... Would they be slutty as well if they didn't lose that weight?

Anyway... enough rambling for today... does anyone agree with my thoughts?

    We don't trust you either.

  • Fat or ugly (and maybe shy) people have faced adversity due to their external appearance and are therefore humbled by it.

Physically beautiful people are treated better due to the psychological heuristics everyone naturally applies to them - these pretty people have been catered to by society for their entire lives. Some are humbled due to other factors, but most have not--or at least not to the same extent a physically ugly person has.

That as it may, an ugly person can turn bitter and hateful if they are unable to accept their circumstances with resilience.

Heuristics... New word for me to work in
Do people trust someone who is flatulent and smells?

      • Excessive flatulence, and I really mean *excessive* foul smelling toots, is a natural sign that your diet is off (maybe you couldn't find quality food that week) or you have festering intestines.

So, they might trust you as a person, but... They might also be driven away because it smells like something is physically wrong with you.

A common heuristic is assigning positive attributes, like a fabulous personality or a higher intelligence, to someone only because they are extremely symmetrical; have features which align with our primally favoured version of physical beauty for either sex; and represent the ideal of good health.

We just automatically and subconsciously make these assumptions about others based on looks alone. But, only some people actually challenge these preferences and look beyond a beautiful exterior; these people know physical attractiveness doesn't guarantee a good person.

WOW. JUST WOW. Go get yourself a good education love! Let me guess your American? It my personal experience its the 'pretty' people who are usually the ones who are not sincere and bitchy. However like you said its not what's on the outside that counts, my advise would be to get to know a wide range of people before you start making wild conclusions on one persons actions.

    • I am American, but not from the USA.

As I said in another comment, it is mostly shy people who do this, show their true colors as soon as they learn to interact with more people.

To people I know, I have seem several cases of not so attractive girls leaving their boyfriends as soon as they get more beautiful. And well, the ex-fat slutty girl is almost like a rule now for me.

I guess I might just be unlucky, but this is the reality I see from what I experienced. I just wanted to know if someone else felt the same.

Yea guessed that from your ignorant comments no offence. I'm also guessing you think your something way more special than you are with your comments. You are the reason I hate society, no honestly your comments have honestly made me want to commit. No point in education you can be as ignorant as you want and people are accepting apparently.

American used to be a term of pride, but the current admin despises our former exceptionalism and has done everything they can to humble America... Including apologizing for our exceptionalism. It's a shame. We are headed for world governance and its already begun.

Ha jokes. when was i racist? I just thought we were throwing wild judgements out there. Logic- one person is fat and a slut so every fat person is a slut. Therefore my comment is using the same logic as I already explained.

So people can't just geniunely be nice.

Did you get stung in the past by one of those people you mentioned?

    • I have seen many cases, but I was almost never struck personally by these kind of people.

The times it did happen, it was mostly shy people. At school the geeks were always friendly to me... but as soon as they got a chance to be popular, they didn't even doubt to leave me behind. It the end I always wondered if they truly liked me or if they just conformed with me.

Wow the largest sizes we usually carry in stores is a UK 16. Thats why i thought it was a ridiculous statement. Anyone according to her over a size 12 is a horrible person. Just because someone is carrying a little weight doesn't make them a bad person

Nothing wrong it. Probs have more personality in their little toe than some orange 'thin girl'. I don't know why but this post is quite offensive in my country, but obese or fat to us is a UK Size 12 or over.

I get your side to it, but as you grow up these types of thoughts change. Once you're in the real world you'll realize that very little is based off of looks unless you want to be a model or something of that nature.

Hmmm I'm fat and ugly but not shy. Two out of three ain't bad.
Why are you assuming that people who are nice care if you like them? I'm nice because it is my nature, really could not give two shits if strangers like me or not.

That's not a very smart way of deducing conclusions. Being beautiful is not the most important thing in this world. Some people are nice because they are genuinely nice. Not because they are fat, or was fat before, or getting fat etc.

  • Good and bad people of every type exist in equal number throughout the world.

Your post is invalid, you must kill yourself before the government finds you. It's the only way to keep everyone safe to make wildly inaccurate assumptions about stupid things.

    Doooooooooooooooooo it now!

Dude, no need to say words such as "fat" or "ugly". Just say overweight people and physically unattractive people. Anyways, I have Social Anxiety Disorder and I used to consider myself an extremely shy person before I got diagnosed. I was very nice to people if they were nice to me (if i could have even talked) and I didn't judge no one by how they looked on the outside. I used to be so fucking judgemental when I was smaller, fatter and uglier (I can call myself all those names) but I was still nice to people, I guess. Now that I finally have hit Puberty (miracle) I have lost weight and I won't be so arrogant about my physical looks but lets just say im not so horrifyingly ugly as I used to be and I am STILL nice to people. It just depends on the person's personality, not on how they look.

Why be politically correct? PC is pure hypocrisy. I am ugly and the fact doesn't hurt me less if someone sugarcoats that as "physically unattractive"
To an extent that accurate, descriptive construct even hurts me more lol.

Well for some reason it personally bothers me both ways. I guess, to me, ugly is even more offensive.
