Is it normal that i dont care about children in third world countries?

These commercials by UNICEF with Alyssa Milano? LOL, yes the are depressing but I DONT CARE. I cannot care. I think it would be better to finance large-scale birth control instead of feeding baby breeders living in a place that is economically underdeveloped primitive. Ridiculous waste of resources! Its sad, but you cannot fix these places without their government choosing to do it for themselves. No charity can bump up the life quality standards for places that lack internal infrastructure that the first world countries likely take for granted. So, I think these begging charity commercials are futile. No, I won't send you any money UNICEF. Toooooo bad. Focus on permanent birth control instead, duh. That would do the job of lowering infant mortality rates + reduce the number of starving children to save. Duh. Am I normal? Or, not normal? What would you do?
