As a straight guy makeup creates a different impression than natural.
A girl with makeup is usually just really attractive but they seem out of my league, shallow, and they don't seem like someone to get in a relationship with.
A girl with no makeup is usually pretty, with a good personality. They seem so much easier to relate to and date.
Basically, if you are looking for short term, makeup. If you are looking for long term, no makeup or very little.
Tip: The douchebags tend to go for makeup, nice guys for no makeup.
Wow, aren't you judgmental. Maybe you go for women that wear no makeup but that doesn't mean that all women who wear makeup are shallow and not good in a relationship. Also someone without makeup can have a bad personality, trust me I've met people who are complete bitches and don't wear makeup. I've also met some of the nicest, people who do wear makeup.
And your last statement about long term and short term relationships is so idiotic, I'm not even going to respond to it.
Oh and you would be surprised at the number of women who wear makeup and you just don't know it. If they don't wear lipstick, eyeliner, eye shadow and mascara than you really have no way of telling unless you look very closely at their skin, which would be kind of creepy.
You say nice guys go for no makeup, and douchebags go for makeup, but you just proved yourself because your a pretty big douchebag and you go for no makeup.
Anyway, yes it is normal to not wear makeup. If you don't need it or want it don't wear it.
Impression is judgement, but you said it as if it was a fact, you didn't say "Girls with makeup appear shallow" it was "Girl that wear makeup are shallow and wouldn't be good in a relationship" and when you told people that if they are looking for long term go for no makeup and short term go for makeup. That was not an impression, that was an idea you made up in your head, because of those judgement you made without even knowing the person.
Oh and it's okay to make first impressions, or judgement, everyone does. But the problem with what you did was you stayed with those first impressions and because of your bad first impressions of a few girls who wore makeup you now circle every girl into the category of bitch because they wear makeup. Which if you actually took the time to get to know those girls you may find is the farthest thing from the truth.
Is it normal that I don't wear make-up?
