Is it normal that i don't want to date a trans person?

There's obviously been a big LGBT pride movement lately, and lots id trans people are coming out.

On the Internet, I feel a pressure on treating m2f people the same and not judging them for who they are.

I just personally don't want to get into a relationship with a trans woman, because I cannot remove the thought of them originally being a man..

Is this wish to not be in a relationship with a trans woman normal?

(And no, I wouldn't be in a date with an f2m person because they were female, due to, err, 'plumbing issues'.)

Transexuality is disgusting, and don't try to force me to accept people who can't accept themselves!

Yes, it is perfectly normal. The media is celebrating the mentally deranged freaks who refer to themselves as "transexuals." But it is natural to be disgusted by those degenerates

it is not disgusting it is confronting yes and a little creepy but after you get use to it they seem alright. As long as they do not force anything onto you , it is really non of our business they were not born to make us feel comfortable.
You can be creped out by it but that does not give you or anyone for that matter the right to psychically hurt them. I understand that it can be upsetting that you found out your gf or bf was once a m or a f. to tell the truth unless i was madly in love with them i might have a problem although i would rather them be honest with me before getting into a romantic relationship.
As for friendship wise i would just want my friend to be happy and if that meant changing their sex then i say let them change their sex and the people that have a problem with it can just GTFO and should stop caring about what other people are doing and start focusing on their phatic existence instead of focusing on other people lives and also they should stop getting in the way of peoples happiness.

Well, you are perfectly normal. As long as you are neutral/friendly with them you are doing okay.
I don´t honestly think that straight people want to be with someone that isn´t 100% male/female.

I mean a trans-woman might look, talk and act just like if she had been born in that body. BUT she can´t bear your child and that´s a pretty huge thing.

Just as the LGBTQ community want to be accepted those who don´t want to date a transgender should be accepted too.

sure, some people would date them and some don't, it's fine as long as you don't harass them or hate them for who they are.

there are some trans people that actually have operations so they change their genitals (not a real one)

A person chooses to make a transition from male to female, or female to male. That is their personal business.

If you don't want to date a transsexual person, then don't. That is your own personal business. Your choice.

Doesn't matter what the LGBT community is doing.

I think is like gay marriage if you don't want to do it then don't. Seems easy to avoid.

In all honesty I never thought that Jenner trans gal was attractive. I mean that is one fugly looking woman. Come to think of it that entire clan is nothing I'd want to go near.

i feel as though its normal. I do feel bad for Trans people who have trouble finding a match. I do know that pan-sexual people are more common these days so there is always that department.

Its normal. It must suck for a trans person wanting to be what they feel inside when they are something else on the outside. But I think they should respect the boundaries of the people that may not be interested in them, and like a more natural male or female. Its not always offense.

Men were born men to be men, and vice versa! Don`t fuck with changing your gender just because you can!

It is normal to have preferences, but just remember they are people too. Don't listen to the transphobic comments.

Yes, it's normal. Transsexuality is a mental illness and we shouldn't be encouraging people to fall deeper into the delusion. And we sure as hell shouldn't be forcing others to accept the delusion. Let these people get the help that they definitely need. Don't make the condition worse.

I would be pretty pissed if a trans person let me get all the way to the bedroom before I found out what the deal was.

That said, they don't offend me. I find them a little comical and confusing. Even a little sad. But they, in their own tragic existence, probably don't feel any worse than I do with my antisocial, suicidal depression on a daily basis. The difference is their tragedy is more externally visible.

I have to agree with the gypsy sailor yet again, we know who you are. Anybody that worries about accidentally nailing a trans person is merely paranoid and phobic.

    • I worry about it, because if the first sign is her bulge in bed, I'd be pretty pissed.

I'd also be unhappy to realise that I'd nailed an M2F, being unable to avoid the idea of it being a bloke.

Just in case there are others as stupid and ignorant of the differences between the males and females of our species, as wigz (which I find highly unlikely as people that stupid don't often survive long enough to reach the minimum age necessary to post on here), let me help you out.
Of course there is the genitalia, which is not necessarily apparent when someone is clothed, and can be changed these days as mentioned by the OP, but there is the little matter of the Adam'a apple. I've never heard of anyone having that removed, and unless it is covered by a scarf, it can pretty much be a dead give away if a "woman" has one protruding from her throat. This certainly could be one's first indication that perhaps this person you are seeing has not always been the gender they appear to be now.
Anyway, I sincerely hope I have cleared that up for any of you who might be as stupid and ignorant of male physiology as our old friend wigz here, poor pathetic being, that it is.

'I've never heard of it so it doesn't exist!'

The procedure is called chondrolaryngoplasty (or tracheal shave)

Also, not all men have a noticeable Adam's apple.

Sorry. Perhaps you haven't been around long enough to realize what a total imbecile wigz actually is. Keep reading it's posts and you'll soon get the idea. I guess if pathetic and stupid amuse you, it's post can be laughable.

For the 5th time, it's 'its' not 'it's'. 'It's' is a contraction for 'it is' or 'it has'

'Keep reading it's posts and you'll soon get the idea.'

'I guess if pathetic and stupid amuse you, it's post can be laughable.'

To a non-retard, those sentences make no sense.

          Keep reading it has posts?

It is posts can be laughable?

Funny how a supposed syphillitic lying retard with AIDS and 'an addled brain' can correct you so often.

How does this even come into your mind? In 60 odd years on this planet I do not believe I have ever run into a trans person outside a cabaret. It really would be the very last thing I worry about if I was dating someone. Anyway, it's pretty easy to tell. If you've got to worry, how about worrying about herpes; one kiss and you could have it for life. Or aids or syphilis (like wigz and stevie must have, judging by their total lack of mental acuity).

How would you know how many trans people you've ran into?

"Anyway, it's pretty easy to tell."

Except when it's not. Those would be the ones you never even realized you encountered.
