.. The truth is that I feel like I have to spare this guys feelings because he is very overly sensitive, as well as feeling as though I am, in fact, NOT the bad person he makes me out to be. I seem to be seeking external validation from him, since I was 'pretty rotten' with what I said, I want to prove to him that I am not the rotten person he thinks I am. Therefore I will feel better with hanging around other mutual friends and so he will refrain from exploring me and ruining my relationship with other fun people I know and love.
If you have romantic feelings for him thats normal
Block him from any social media
Block his mobile number.
Aviod somewhere you know he is goin to be
3years isnt even that long a time I have had friendships for 15years
Take up some hobby and you wont think about him I love needle felting

He sounds like a manipulative sociopath soon-to-be rapist. You need to get rid of him, and if you can get him some serious help, but don't go out of your way to do that; he could be dangerous.

My apologies if I sounded a little off-putting in my other comment to you. But I wouldn't dare cause anyone or anything pain.
Also, he has told me several times about how he hates being a guy and he wants to cut off his own penis. He has actually attempted that once.... He has also told me that he has read a few rape stories (because apparently it's a "trigger" for him... Can't imagine why after what he has attempted on me) because it really makes him hate being a male and he feels like he needs to brutally punish himself......
I understand that he has problems. I currently have his number blocked and refuse to contact him ever again. This time it's for real.
Is it normal that I don't want to be this guys friend anymore?
