I'm not materialistic, don't care about cars, clothes, etc. there is just nothing I want people are pissed they don't know what to get me.

    My son was the same.

    Tell them it's the thought that counts, so a card is plenty.

    You can tell them that what would make you extremely happy would be to donate money or time to a worthy cause like an animal shelter or soup kitchen on your behalf as a birthday gift :)

    Ask for money, gift cards, etc. Or go out to eat with your family or something.
