    It's so easy to be all high and mighty from your comfy chair while the Middle East is suffering; I'd like to see you, or any other WASP armchair philosopher, for that matter, actually go down there and take a page out of Abdul Satar Eddhi's book.

      My seating isn't comfy, I'm quite low and powerless, I'm not white, I'm not Anglo-Saxon, I'm not a Protestant, I'm not a philosopher, it's a sofa not a chair, the Middle East isn't "down" from here, and I don't think you would like to see me go there to rip up some poor man's book, although it sounds like an intriguing idea. If he mails me the book, I'll rip it up and send the pieces back. Probably cheaper and quicker!

      You were 100% absolutely completely right on absolutely everything else, though, and I couldn't possibly agree more with those things.
