It comes from a good place honestly. Divorce is Only acceptable in the Bible when adultery is present. But I think the pre-marital sex sin is from a broad picture. Sex from what I've been told is enjoyable with that "true love" and with lots of partners and being unsafe it can be potential harm to ur health and partner. Also just look at this site and advice columns, a lot in our society is all about sex and that is it. Its rare to commit in today's society and lots of people have emotional distress or suffer from loneliness or being used. Just from reading, I see that it was created to prevent what's happening today from occurring. I'm not saying all guys or girls, but I can guarantee that a majority of the people don't want a life partner that has been around the block and then some. People do what they want to do regardless and I don't judge. Whatever makes a person happy, but the big picture and underlying purpose of that (non pre-marital sex) is suppose to be beneficial if u actually just look at it (not necessarily believe it), but look at it from the book's point of view. But it is normal to think sex isn't a sin... Our society as a whole is proof of that
