Making other people feel bad about their choices is not the Buddhist way. If you want to impress upon people how utterly brilliant you are and how crap their philosophy is, that is your choice and it is your way, but don't attribute this to Buddhism.
He never said anything of the likes that Christianity is stupid and that Buddhism is the best. He stated his opinion that pre-marital sex makes little sense, and that the Buddhist culture has no rules or laws against sex.
