There's a thing called 'catholic guilt'. I am a non-practising catholic. So many people I know who are Catholics have this guilt about sex - even if they ARE married and sleeping with their husband/wife. How can that be a good thing? I'm a spiritual person, but I refuse to be part of a religion that is highly hypocritical. As a kid, I was scared of the priest because he was mean, and he always made me cry in confession. For me, sex with someone I love is a great thing. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with pre-marital sex.
Is it normal that I don't understand how sex is bad?
