Is it normal that i don't think life is a big deal?

Wether or not you believe in something after death, we all mostly strife to live a life that will make us feel satisfied. I have always said that the only thing about life and death that we can be 100% certain about, is that we are alive right now, so I try to live in a way that makes me and the people I love happy. What happens after I die? Who knows, but at least I'll know, in my deathbed, I'll be able to say that I don't regret a single thing and that I couldn't have asked for anything better than what I got.

I think this too but it doesn't mean I won't have a good time while I'm here. I can see that everything we do may have significance but in the end we all die and either benefit the earth or burn.

This helps me to not be too bothered about the little things and to focus beyond normal worries and stress. It also reminds me no matter what happens, the end will be inevitable therefore it does not really matter.

I don't care for what our culture says that we should care for in life either. All of this, to what end? I think you're normal.

I just want to be happy.

You aint ending up in the same place as me, trust me.

Life is not about the eventual death but the experience of it. Being happy while you're here.

All actions in life are informed by the need for happiness even your writing this story was made for some sense of satisfaction.

i get where you're coming from... but i only think like that when I overthink. Try not to think so much about it.
I came to the conclusion that I still want to have a good life because of the same. That we all end up 6 ft under anyway but you should want to enjoy it as much as possible on the way there... if that makes any sense.

It's no about what's to come in life, it's about the journey that we experience while we are still living. Maybe you are depressed?
