In this particular case, yes, it is completely normal to not feel love for the rest of your family. Love is something that needs to be built through contact (of any kind), which you have had almost none of with the rest of your family. It is still possible to love them in the future though, if you ever decide to spend significantly more time with them. But your decision now is completely justified.
