You're welcome. You probably should have made the distinction between OP and myself in the reply you made to my comment, though. Also, OP is clearly young and new to the exciting world of embarrassing politicians, so it's not too big a stretch to think that they may not be clear on when election day was. But, of course, you didn't bother thinking that far into it.
In what world does anyone believe the media is unbiased? And I have to agree that the inaccuracy of the polls was funny as hell.
However, my original, and only, point was that the general consensus holds that Trump's not seen in a favorable light by a majority of Americans, so OP shouldn't lose faith in the country just yet. It doesn't mean all the information we receive is guaranteed to be accurate. It doesn't mean the nation isn't run by subterranean reptiles in human guise. But you have to learn to weigh the facts you are exposed to as objectively as you can, and, just as the reptilian theory doesn't hold water, neither does the idea that a country founded on the ideals of personal freedom and mutual respect would wholeheartedly rally behind a man who's shown no sign of caring about the values ensconced in the bedrock of the American experiment.
Trump wasn't seen in a favorable light before the election either according to the "general consensus polls" so I'm skeptical of how the reporting regarding how the "general consensus" feels now can be considered accurate.
What most people need to do is learn how to actually separate fact from opinion. Most of what the liberal media presents is slanted towards a liberal opinion.
Again your OPINION is that Trump has shown no sign of caring about the values of the "American experiment". My opinion is the exact opposite in that he very much cares about legally born Americans and wants to stem the flow of immigration from third world countries. Something I completely agree with. I don't care about my ancestors that may have immigrated here a century ago or whenever, I don't care about Native Americans and how they were displaced, I just simply don't care about refugees from war torn countries. They can't come here. I don't care about any liberal argument that is being made regarding these topics.
How anyone can take the majority of the media seriously anymore is beyond me. They aren't even slightly left leaning anymore, even once reputable outlets are clearly on the left. I'm not even conservative, I'm mostly moderate, but I don't take media very seriously anymore.
If Trump was spotted walking across the Potomac, the media would run a story about how he is the first president to be afraid of swimming. It's completely absurd anymore.
Is it normal that I don't like the president here and my country?

So you think the media did a great job on covering the election? Still think they do as close to unbiased a job as possible ?
I saw reports saying Trump had less than a 20% chance to win the election lol
