IDK why, but every time I put clothes into the washer to be washed, I cringe when I see them get wet, and I really cringe when I put the soap on them. IIN?
Don't worry, they aren't drowning in there. They can take it. Clothes are tough.
Sounds like you love your clothes a little too much. Haha i feel the same way... kinda... when I get new clothes.
It's perhaps because normally you wouldn't like to see your clothes get wet, for example, if you spilled a drink on it. So when you see it getting completely drenched in a washing machine, you see this as destruction.. But, of course, don't worry.. Water merely helps wash out the dirt and smell.
I've never thought of it that way before, but I'm sure the thought will cross my mind the next time I do the laundry.
