I agree, homecooked meals often have superior nutrition and of course, give you more for your money. But if you're going to a restaurant only to eat then you're doing it wrong. It's meant to be a social affair, to catch up with friends and make new ones.
As far as satisfying your hunger, I recommend you order foods that are higher in fat and lower in carbs.
Sometimes you I need to go to the restaurant "alone" to have lunch/dinner to eat only especially on my lunch break "during working hours". I never felt as good as if I eat homemade food. That what I mean >> and I totally agree with in in social affair thing
