Your not trying hard enough.You are just scared of his friends not accepting you.As hard as it is and as much as you do not want to go.GO! and just try to be as friendly as you possibly can.If you don't take care of the situation now your relationship is going to fall apart and you will regret not doing those little things that make him happy. And then when you feel like your ready he will be gone and you wont be able to go hangout with him and all of his friends.Is it that hard to suck it up for a couple of hours??.I have been in the exact same position as you.
