There's nothing wrong with being an introvert and not wanting to go out all the time, but it's sweet that he wants you with him when he goes out with friends; it would be generous of you to do that every once in a while.
Maybe you can also invite people over to your house. That way, you get to stay on your home turf while seeing him and his friends. He sounds awesome; do something awesome for him and invite his crew over for dinner or a poker game or a movie. :)
