Is it normal that i don't like girls touching me

So I'm nearly 20, and had one girlfriend for four years. It didn't matter if it was her or anyone else I squirm and torretes while holding hands. It's not that I don't want to I just spaz out anytime a girl makes a move on me or any physical contact. I feel this wouldn't be a problem if I was married but I'm not sure if this is a moral or psychological issue. Is this normal?

  • Same here, save for the outcome of it. I'm not much of a fan of girls touching me. Some find it flattering when it really isn't.

  • My guess; you just don't like being touched unless you're the one initiating contact.

  • Well I'm not to sure what you would call it but in the lesbian world a girl lik tht is called some sort of butch and they usually get with pillow lovers or lipstick lesbians. I'm pansexual so I kind of get your dilemma. My girl is a full on butch--lesbian to the core, and she holds my hand, hugs/holds me, and kisses me, but if I try to touch her thighs or anywhere remotely close to her area she freaks out and does a little spasm. It really gets on my nerves so I can imagine how your girls feel if you don't even want to hold hands. You should try to get over it and maybe even get to the point were you can initiate the tough. Good luck and if anyone reads this please don't tell me how I'll go to hell because of my sexuality I've heard it all before so thanks but no thanks let me 'go to hell' or 'hate god' as some people say in peace.

  • I'm exactly the opposite. It doesn't bother me at all. Maybe that came with age though.
