Is it normal that i don't like feminism

So, I hate the idea of feminism. I'm a girl and I have never liked it at all. It just bothers me that people think there is a "wage gap" which there isn't and that woman are treated unfairly. Because no there not. And the thing that you can't be sexist towards men is the most sexist this I have ever heard in my life. If you think about it men get treated unfairly for just being men. So, is it normal that in a girl but don't support feminism?

In public education, memorization and organization are valued over critical thinking and interpretation/nuance. These kids go to college, coming from this machine-learning environment and take in this feminist/gender/race theory as if it's fact. Then they're confused when people around them disagree.
Its not a matter of right or wrong, its a way of looking at the world.
Many smart feminists can support their arguments and make cases that are plausible.
However there are instances where they are just using incorrect/misleading data, wage gap is a big one with that, also rape stats.

So I really don't think you can call feminism wrong, it is a way of looking at the world. And it is wrong when it is treated as a definitive reality free from scrutiny. Very few things if any are that.

But I would just watch it die. I find it hilarious actually that their premise is patriarchy has been a dominant societal force for the duration of human history and not once have females been able to do anything about it. To me that sounds like the biggest FU to women, and anti-feminist argument there is, and yet it is their central premise.

If they can create an equitable world it shouldn't take 10,000 years, and if not they are wasting their time.

It really seems to just be a form of social currency, having little to do with the gravity of the situation. Obama dropped 3 bombs an hour for the duration of 2016, that's for every single 24 hour day. Nobody on the left or right cares. Global slavery is at an all time high, and skyrocketed since it was made illegal, nobody cares. Environmental disaster is something that has some support, but people still think a Clinton initiative would be better, than climate denial, when the two would both have a negligible effect this is what we're dealing with.

Police brutality is gross, some things in feminism such as domestic abuse, sex trafficking, eating disorders, are gross. But there are endless sad and awful things.

What sense is there in we judge each other on if we support BLM, intersectional feminism, denounce Trump, alt right. But could care less about each other's views on child labor, trafficking, environmental disaster, pharmaceutical regulation, banking, drones?

Everyone is still wearing Nikes, paying taxes, burning gas, using the bank, spending money, voting democrat. None of our hands our clean, its the nature of the world we're born into.

We are social creatures, and are born into a life system that destroys the earth and creates WMDs. And we're gonna choose being around the people we love than, picking a more moral lifestyle like being a hunter gatherer, or dumpster dive/urban wild harvesting

A lot of these people just need love, I try to look them in the eyes and stop thinking about politics. We are all people outside of politics, or rather, there are many all encompassing ways of looking at the world. "Everything is political", but everything is also science, math, physics, history, english, music, art, whatever. It doesn't mean we need to focus so intently on it.

A person's political views aren't going to be the most interesting thing about them anyways.
If you think it is empty, treat it that way. Never discuss it, and watch it die. Focus on what you like instead.

There are still women and girls out there open to decent conversation and freedom of thought, like you are.

Nah. I dislike today's feminism too. Feminism today teaches women to fear men, and to always expect the worse from them. It makes us feel weak, and entitled.

Respect girl, respect. Them feminist will put other women down for not joining their crap and just wanting to lead a normal. I've gotten chewed out by one girl who was a beginner feminist but I told her ass off, she ain't gonna be yelling in my face about my choice of living my life. Again. Respect.

Honestly, I don't like how feminism is in its current state. A lot of the feminists I've run into are loud, spoiled, entitled, mislead, adult children who fear or hate men. They seem to want more rights than men have. I know not all of today's feminists are like this, but the bad apples spoiled things for me.

Since I don't like those mean or b*tchy type of girls, this is totally normal... I'm not a feminist because I don't like those kind of girls who is mean, b*tchy and too girly, but I do like girls who are simple, nice, but not too girly or feminine, if you know what I mean... I don't like girls who talk too much and talks too loudly, and there are only a few girls who doesn't talk like that, unfortunately... :[

The term feminism was invented by a man, and in Britain, it was allied to the labor party as a political movement. It has undergone three waves since the 1800's and is now predominately the domain of writers, short haired lesbians and university types.

I absolutely HATE feminism. It's just as bad as the Ku Klux Klan. One of the end goals of feminism is a society of spineless castrated male wimps that can be thrown into prison on a mere accusation from any female. Feminism is all about playing the victim while actually being spoiled and privileged. And about having all the rights of men but NONE of the responsibilities or obligations. There are no "anti-female agendas" in the modern day Western world. MGTOW is growing due to out of control feminist sexism and hypergamy - and feminists, with their characteristically delusional and selfish, self absorbed nature are labeling natural reactions to their own selfishness and entitlement as "anti-woman sexism". They utterly FAIL to see that THEY THEMSELVES and their behavior are the very cause of hostility against them.

Woah woah woah, let's not jump to assumptions here. Feminism is merely about wanting the equality for women. Legally this has been achieved but socially it has not. Many feminists have no problems with males, but some use feminism as an excuse to hate on men. I'm sorry that there are so many misandrists, but try to be reasonable to those who aren't feminazis okay?

There is no "achieving it socially", the high point of the whole movement was Clinton running for president and losing, thankfully. Although maybe it wasn't. Either way if the movement continues to be taken seriously, by women like you who really don't have a clue, more and more men are just going to eschew marriage and relationships and just resort to straight forward hiring a prostitute and paying for sex or just jerking off. Equal treatment isn't what you want anyway, what you actually want is equal treatment when its beneficial, and preferential treatment when it doesn't.

This will never occur. Sorry to burst your social justice bubble but no rational minded man considers gender equality a serious issue, we mostly laugh at it.

Wow. Not exactly in the mood to make males look kind or even intelligent, are you? In fact, the final statement you made is something a feminazi would say to make you guys look bad. But don't worry, I know there are plenty of good men out there. You ain't one of them though. Even your name implies sexism.

The name implies a historical fact, not mindless liberal rhetoric like you've put forth in your comments (and on your dumb profile as well). You're 19 years old and you've got it all figured out? LOL. That's rich.

There are plenty of good men out there, they just went MGTOW because of idiots like you. They also voted for Trump also, like I did. Yeah, I saw that on your profile also.

Know what else I saw on your profile? A pic of you topless. Nothing says class like that "creampuffs", they didn't look good either, despite what you were told.

A picture of me topless? There's nothing like that on there, nor has there ever been. And sure, I may not have gotten it ALL figured out but at least I've got gender equality down. Being older isn't always better, for example: The previous generations tend to stick to outdated and idiotic sexist ideals. Typical anti-woman trump supporters sticking to fictional information and conspiracies. Why don't you explain to me about Hillary Clinton being a murderer and how women secretly enjoy abuse or whatever else you degenerate fools have been saying lately.

I honestly thought the same way as you, once. But the recent election has forced me to wake up from "sexism is defeated" denial. Obviously anti-female agendas are still very common. Mgtow is growing, sexism against women is becoming more mainstream among individuals, and stating that anything in modern society is offensive towards women is responded with cries of "SJW!" and "LIBERAL CUNT!"

Now, I DO have a problem with the way some feminists demonize men. Because of that I consider myself an egalitarian instead of a feminist.

There aren't "anti-female agendas" that are "common". Today there are more opportunities for women than ever before (or probably ever will be again). I don't really support MGTOW at all but I do understand where the men are coming from that belong to it. They don't "hate" women they have just moved on from needing female companionship because its not worth the risk in today's society. Most men are logical and rational thinkers, I can understand being willing to accept a level of loneliness as opposed to being bitter, broke, AND lonely after an ugly divorce.

Most men want traditional women, since feminism teaches women that this a horrible negative to be, most men don't need the stress that marriage entails if the women doesn't have an interest in a traditional role.

It's basically as a submissive worker for the male.

A traditional women's role is basically what everyone is arguing about. Being a women, you are born as a women thinks, lives, and reacts to how a women should act. Woah that was really confusing. The only time a women is a submissive worker for a male is when she's to weak to get him with a pan for being an asshole. Only a rude indecent man would degrade a women as a housekeeper. Being a women you are naturally built with maternal instinct and the wanting to take care of people. You take care of your husband, or just the man in your life because he needs you and face it when he is not rude you enjoy taking care of them. Men are a hopeless mess if they don't have a descent women in their life who is strong and caring. Women are already strong and brave, we don't need feminism to represent us.
