I can't count how many times someone has said something to me like, "I wish I knew you were this cool, I thought you were going to beat me up!"(Yes, all 5'1" of me is ready to kick your ass for no reason.), "you're the first black girl I've ever been attracted to"(Um..thanks?)."I like you. You're not 'ghetto' like the others".(Wait a second..) And finally, "You got some pretty hair, who does it?" (I do..? I've got big long hair, that doesn't mean it's fake.)
Not all of us are rude, loud, and obnoxious with ridiculous hair, clothes, and names.
