Is it normal that i don't like answering my phone?

Yes, especially when the number is unknown.
Then im like damn who can this be my teacher or my boss who wants to ask if i can come work today NO I DON'T WANT TO PICK UP THE PHONE BUT I CANNOT NOT DO IT ARGH PANIC ATTACK!!!

I dont really feel comfortable talking over a phone at all...

I don't like phones, period. I gave my phone to my boyfriend and just use my iPad for all my communication needs. It has a phone app and can make calls, so good enough. I have never ignored any of my close friends on purpose, but it's happened. Acquaintances however get blown off for days on purpose. I'm not a people person these days and choose who I open up to very carefully.

I dislike talking on the phone as well. Like you, I find it disruptive to my day, not the people calling just the fact of it ringing and me having to talk at the drop of a hat. My friends rock though and never take offense when I call days after or txt hours after I first receive them.

I think its normal. I fucking hate talking on the phone. My wife loves it. Go figure, eh?

I can be like that too there are very few people I will answer their call right away most of the time I let it ring till they call me more than once and almost everyone does because they know I won't pick up unless they do :(

I'm terrified of talking on the phone. If someone calls me, I'll have a panic attack and freeze. I'll let it ring and ring until the person stops calling me, then I'll usually text that person a few minutes later. I do this with my friends too...

I never know what to say and there's almost always the dreaded awkward pause.
