I wouldn't be with him, I know he seems nice, and everything, but obviously your not that attracted to him. Don't waste his time, or yours being with someone, you clearly think it's best not to be together. Just be friends!
Be with someone you are crazy about when you first see them, It's a good thing to have a friendship with someone, and be with them, but only if your truly attracted, and not wanting to break up... especially if you feel strongly about breaking up.
