Is it normal that i don't hook up?

It not that I'm super religious or anything. I was just never comfortable with having a friendship/relationship (whatever you want to call it) with someone purely for the benefit of sleeping with them. And for me it's even worse if I never talk to the guy again. I have hooked up before...and I hated how I felt afterwards almost like I'm being used, and the guy is just trying to be nice so that he doesn't seem rude or that we could possibly hook up again. Am I normal for thinking like this?

    People make hooking up sounds so cool and what not, but alot of people look down on it. I would never hook up either, I don't preffer loveless sex. Feels like self rape to me.

    Nobody is forcing you to hook up. It's lame nowadays anyway. Do whatever you desire.

    It's Normal. I don't care for it either. I am a young male, engaged to a girl whom I've been with almost 2 years. I'll admit we got down pretty quick. But it happens. Just try not to be afraid of your own thoughts eh?
