I am 27 years old and do not have a Facebook. I had a Myspace but only because my ex made it for me and that caused drama. I think Facebook has drama or tendencies for it sooner or later. I think of it like this, if you are my friend, we have each others contact information and can text/call on the phone. We could even meet in person. I think Facebook is mostly for girls because they love to show off pictures and for guys who want to meet with girls.
You are free from social stress. Only people who you want to know or be around can do so. Facebook has a privacy setting and you can allow some of your friends to access it, but not all friends? Why even post it up then? I am happy you have joined the free side. One last thing is that I see it is very addicting because the first thing in the morning, my girlfriend gets on Facebook before anything else and is on it a good majority of the time looking at friend's profiles.
And then after you've "facebooked" for hours at a time, what did you actually DO? It's such a useless waste of time... nobody's accomplishing anything. You'd be more productive watching television haha I just like choosing to not know everything about it. Ignorance is bliss, in this case :)
Is it normal that I don't have facebook?
