I guess you could say that my situation is somewhat similar to yours. I had offline "friends" but at some point, somewhere in last or the year before, I didn't feel connected to them any more. There were different age ranges and I had a different schooling background than all of them. I could no longer relate to them and the ones that were in or around my peer group, really got on my nerves with silly teenage bemusing, lack of morals and so on. I felt alienated from them. So more or less, I started to slowly distance myself from them. Even the ones that I seemed to be able to relate with somewhat, I no longer felt like I could or wanted to talk to them. (I should probably also add that I never saw them except in the summer despite the fact, that we all lived in the same state and possibly not the far away from each other.) Anyway, I feel more of a connection to my friends online as opposed to ones offline. I think it's normal that you in the situation that you are in.
is it normal that I don't have any friends offline?
