Don't even worry about it, man~ I'm the same way. I may have had a few GOOD friends but most have moved away. I had some nice acquaintance level friends from high school but we hardly keep in contact now. People on a job are friendly enough but no one I'd trust my life story with. I don't like popular music, movies and TV shows so when people try talking about things like that, they'll say "You haven't seen [insert movie here]?", I say "Thats what I just said". Instead, I like anime, certain instruments and video games (and their music).
I won't give you copy and paste advice like "Go out and try talking to people", it always isn't that simple in my experience. Now if you go places where people are already into your interests then things change. I like games so I've met plenty of online friends via MMOs. A game store, arcade or game tournament would do it too. I'm sure you can talk about computers with people in various places like that also. Its better to have a few really good friends than a truckload of so-so ones, doesn't matter to me if they are offline or online.
is it normal that I don't have any friends offline?
