Every relationship needs a break sometimes it must be just the thrill of being able to do whatever you like when you like to.You must miss him at some stage of the day like getting into to bed with no-one beside you, if not then you know he may not be "the one"
I agree with this answer. It's OK to enjoy your freedom, but if you do not miss him at some point (if only for a few minutes), then that's probably not a good sign.
