That's the smart thing to do. Relationships end horribly often times because people put up a front and dupe others into believing that they are someone they are not. Then that someone sees differently when that front wears off and everyone is miserable.
Just goes to show how desperate people can be for a relationship. And for what? Just so they can brag to their friends and family about how they finally got a girlfriend or boyfriend?
It's not anything to brag about if you're unhappy because then you look like a fuckin fool when your supposedly happy relationship crashes and burns. Trust me, I've been on the short end of that stick, damn.
