If someone else isn't going to be involved in whatever sexy thing you want to do, then I wouldn't worry too much about hygeine stuff.
The only concern would be mess on furniture/bed sheets etc but I'm sure you don't need people to tell you to wash your sheets if you get shit on them lol.
