They're not born with a blank slate, and it's definitely true how like with when toddlers throw a tantrum for example, they did not learn that behavior from something around them because they're too young, they do act that way due to something already inside them. However, kids growing up still can definitely be corrupted due to surroundings, whether it's from something at home, from other kids in school, or from society. That's why it's still important to raise them right, it still makes a difference in how they could turn out. It would make even more of a difference if the world was a nicer place, but we can't control that. So, in other words, some of how kids are is from something inside them, and some of it is surroundings and environment, it's some of both.
Yeah. It seems like some of the commenters here are saying it's all environment, or all something within them. They need to see it like we do, it's some of each.
Some people do like to battle heredity vs. environment. Hey, that reminds me of the film Trading places.
IIN that I don't believe that children are innocent?
