I am a bisexual female, I have been in relationship with my girlfriend for the past few months. Our closest friends know about this but both of us dont really want to come out to our parents or family. I live in a pretty traditional country and older people are not as accepting. Im just scared of judgement, even tho my lovely girlfriend is the best what happened to me in my life.

    Then don't. If its not holding you back much, don't risk it. Its up to you though.

    The current notion, that making a public declaration about your sexuality is somehow a duty you owe to all the other non-heterosexuals out there, is a crock of shit.

    If you are happy with your partner and with your relationship with your family, don't rush into any declaration. You do not owe it to anyone.

    You will come out when it feels right for you. You sound like you are under pressure to do so. When the time is right you will do it. The time may never be right tho.

    Eventually you are going to have to. Not now, as it isnt harming anyone, but hiding something that big from the people closest to you is not a good thing. Do it when you’re ready, but dont avoid it.
