Stop buying it. I find that if I have it, then I'll want to smoke it until it's all gone. But buying it takes more effort and is therefore easier to control. You will also want to make a new habit of preoccupying yourself with tasks/activities every instance you find yourself longing to smoke. Don't allow yourself to wallow in thoughts about how the current moment would be better if you were baked. And avoid hanging out with people who will be smoking it.
I bought it for years and I stopped buying it last Summer. I still have a puff occasionally (1-3 times a month) when I visit people who smoke weed because they always offer me a drag. But now a puff or two is all it takes and I'm baked for hours. As long as I am married, I won't buy it--I made the husband a promise.
Is It Normal that i do weed but urge my freinds to get off of it?
