Is it normal that i do not like dating people younger than myself?

I'm a 19-year-old man, and I would not, for my life, date someone who was even a month younger than me. I would instead consider dating someone who was born the same day or after I was born.

Is It Normal?

      Everyone has their own preferences.

      If he talks to someone and ends up really liking them, then I'd hope he'd change his mind.

      But of course it would depend on how much younger for him, and everyone still has their own opinion.

      So I dont blame him

      But if he met the girl of his life, would he really care that she's maybe 1 year younger?

    Age difference between younger people can be a problem such as a 16 year old going out with a 14 year old. It's only 2 years but in the teen years it makes a big difference. As the years go up the age difference means less. Like a 30 year old going out with a 25 year old. No biggy. When you get yet older the age difference is much less of a concern.

    i am 23, and i feel like i would be a major cougar if i went out with someone who was like 18 or so, but hey if we were all older or if they were say 22, it would be different. lol by the way.

    Wanting a partner the same age or older but not younger seems strange. Why not younger? Personally I would prefer a younger woman but if an older woman came along I would not dismiss the idea.

    Well everyone has their preferences. I voted normal. Personally age doesn't matter to me. My boyfriend is a year younger than me and I'm okay with that.

    I was actually traumatized by a friend who was in 8th grade dating a 5th grader and it shocked me because I knew there were kissing and shit like a real couple except she was much youngner
