Is it normal that i do not have a cell phone or do social networking?

The title is pretty much self-explanatory. And I'm a 25 year old man from the U.S., not an 80 year old sheep herder.

    i cant define normal but i have friends who dont have cell phones or use facebook not because of paranoia issues they just dont feel like they need them if you dont need a phone why have one? i dont have a giraffe it would be pretty sweet tho, but i dont need one so i dont have one

    I don't have a facebook and am constantly told by my friends I am weird for not having one and it is a must have, but I just see it as extra drama and stress in my life.

    I'm 19 and I don't have a phone or on any social media sites. My friends just think I have the type of personality where I don't carw what other people are doing every second of the day or let others know what I'm doing. I also don't need to text someone 24/7 I have other things. to do

    Why bother if you can live without them. They don't give freedom they tie you down. I'd say my phone is off more hours per day than it's on - it's only for my son, if he needs a lift home from school. Stuff the rest of the world!

    You're a normal guy in my opinion. I don't have facebook, twitter, myspace, etc etc etc.

    On the other hand, I couldn't live without a cell phone.

    Nothing wrong with sheep either; although it's always a bit embarrassing being caught climbing out of the back of one.

    not everyone wants to be tied to a phone.

    Yes i have one... mainly for emergencies and texting but... i also cherish being disconnected.

    and you mention sheep... interestingly there ARE rural areas around here where no matter what your age, you wouldn't get a signal. where i work we actually have customers who still have dialup as their ONLY option. (well technically they could use satellite but that's pricy)
