  • I like quite alot of rap, along with completely different genres of music.

A few of my favorites are:

    • Nice. I'm a Biggie guy myself, but you can't help but respect Tupac.

A lot of people hate hip-hop because they've only heard what plays the loudest. But there are some real visionaries, poets, and geniuses out there that don't get much limelight, and of course there are the classics. And if you've heard all that and you still don't like it, then of course that's fine. I just wince when people say they hate hip-hop based on the top radio hits.

      • Agreed. Rap today isn't what it used to be from what I could gather. Alot of rap that was made by earlier rappers made rap music from the soul. I think alot of people don't understand that rap has changed quite a bit from the past.

I like a few rap songs from the present, although I don't think they hold much to anything over songs from Biggie and Tupac.

    • I'm with you, I like pretty well all genres. There is something valuable in each of them..... and when they collaborate effectively.... its usually awesome.
