Is it normal that i desire an apocalypse situation?

For whatever reason, I fantasize about an apocalypse - Not a zombie apocalypse where everybody but me dies, but just some sort of reason for civilization to be nonexistent. I enjoy the vision of traveling through an abandoned urban area or trekking across a desolate highway with only one (if not zero) person to accompany me, and eventually attempt to create a utopia-like village to attract other survivors.

The thought of testing my true natural ability, seeing my limits, and eventually rebirthing society as one, new world order is an enticing situation for me. Why is this, and is it normal?

    My favourite part would be trying to re-establish the human population...with sex. But only if its with a hot chick.

    Wow thought it was just me... i mainly want that to happen, though, so that the stupid people that don't know how to survive, just how to do pointless human things, to die, and leave all the ones that actually do. That would be an amazing place. Also, being the only one for miles, and having to hunt for food for years sounds awesome... kind of like the native americans.

    I think many people are seeing this as you wanting billions of people to die in an apocalypse. I can see that you are more interested in what the world would be like in such a situation, which I can confess to doing myself a couple of times. I'd say its noraml.

    Probably impossible to make the utopia, a new world order. While you're finding ssurvivers, making your society, others are doing the same, and when they meet, it might not be pretty.

    Despite this, I wish for some sort of apocolypse to happen aswell.

    I think you enjoy the glamorized fantasy version of the apocalyptic theme. In reality, it would probably not be anything even close to what you could imagine, and chances are that you probably wouldn't even survive.

    All that being said, I do think it's normal. Humans disgust me sometimes...
