I have and unfortunately occasionally do injure myself as well (in a different manner) but in a way self harm is self harm whether your hitting yourself, scratching yourself, or ripping off chunks of flesh and eating them it's all a means of hurting yourself and you should find better ways of coping if at all possible. Any cut or wound can get infected and leave scars. I have scars from digging "holes" in myself with my fingernails by bearing down and pushing my fingernails into my skin and scraping off flesh. It's a shame but for some such as yourself (and for me at times) the feeling of injury provides a sort of messed up satisfaction. I know how it can be, but please try to stop doing this as I have been there myself with hating myself and wanting to cause harm to myself. Also, with a razor there is the potential you could slip and even though your just making light scrapes you could slip and accidentally end up needing to go to the hospital.
Is it normal that I cut myself?
