Is it normal that I created an older brother for myself? Last summer I started imagining I had a brother in my head. We would hang out and talk and celebrate birthdays and bicker just like normal siblings. I am an only child and I have never really had an older male influence so I think that may be a supporting factor. I also text myself and pretend that we are texting each other! It all seems perfectly normal to me but I kind of want an outside opinion on it. Thanks!

    It's normal. I have imaginary friends too. I'm inclined to think that a lot of other people do too, since questions like these tend to get asked a lot. It may not be socially acceptable, but that doesn't make it bad or wrong.
